GRANTED is a new initiative and there are several ways to participate in the review process. NSF proposal evaluation can be conducted by ad hoc review, utilizing a panel of experts, or a combination of both. When you are contacted to participate in a review event,  details about the process being employed will be provided. 

Pursuant to 5 CFR 1320.5(b), an agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to an information collection unless it displays a valid OMB control number.  The OMB control number for this collection is 3145-0058.  Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 15 -20 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions.
